We have a industrial wool washing machine and dehydrator. We also have an industrial fiber cleaner, which can get rid of most vegetable matter in fibers.  With industrial machines, we are able to process fiber at fast speeds and get roving in different diameters and weights.  The roving strip weight can be 8g/m to 12g/m.

With our carding machine, we can reach 20 lbs to 50 lbs per hour. Our delivery will be 10 lbs/barrel.  Our barrel size is 34" x 24".  We can reach industrial sliver production expectations.  However, we require customers to provide barrels for big commercial orders. We need weekly delivery in exchange of new empty barrels and raw wool.

We mainly process wool/alpaca fiber to roving or batting. Depending on the size of order, our turnaround time is one week to a month.

We take your fleece and turn it to roving/batting as you wish.  But we require the fleece fibers for processing to be between 3" and 7" long to assure the quality of roving and batting.  There is a 10 lb minimum weight requirement for using our carding machine

We can do 100% alpaca roving, but not 100% alpaca batting.  We only do 50% or above wool and 50% or less alpaca fiber mix.

Our roller for batting is 60" long with 40" diameter.  We produce large batting size of 84” x 106”

We strongly suggest that you skirt your fleece before sending to us since it is the intake weight charged for processing.

  1. From raw fleece to roving: $18/lb
  2. For batting: $20/lb;
  3. Mixing fibers of any kinds to roving: $20/lb, to batting: $22/lb;
  4. Core spun yarn making: $22/lb;
  5. Making comforters with your own fiber:

    a. $90 if you provide your own quilting fabric envelopes.

    b. $150 if we provide our own quilting fabric envelopes.

We require a 50% deposit on fiber arrival and be paid in full before releasing the final product.  We book the shipping from pirateship.com. There will be 10% charge if the customer doesn't pick up the final products in a week.

You can send fleeces to us by mail or drop in person. Our warehouse opens hour: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
